Mining for change
with traditional African methods. The irony is that 90% of the cops
(western concept) are African.I think this whole thing shows how flawed
Capitalism AND the Traditional methods of doing things are.
It is time for a global social and economical restructure, because
neither of these two ways are working and they can't seem to live
O.K., so this is what happens when you try to sort out Western problems
As South Africans we are perfectly positioned to be part of, and help to create this new outlook. We are not that country being shown on the BBC, CNN and Sky. We are not those people taking part in these violent acts.
COSATU, the mining unions and parties like the ANC are leading the poor and less educated people into senseless conflicts. Lets face it, typical of capitalism, the mines ARE misusing and exploiting these poor people and there is nothing wrong with wanting to make more money and supporting your family, but this can't be the way to do it. It's time to find a way to change things, and no, socialism is not the way.
What do you guys think?
